Two Moms. One Mission. Really Soft Pajamas.
We're Mel and Alex, two moms who got tired of choosing between adorable baby clothes and paying our electricity bill.
Mel started The Honey and Bro Co. after years as a postpartum doula and raising seven kids of her own. Seven. She knows what fabrics survive the washing machine, what snaps actually work at 3 AM, and what "soft" really means when it's against your baby's skin.
Alex came on as co-owner, bringing her nursing background, an eye for style, and the perspective of a newer mom navigating that beautiful, exhausting first year with her son TJ. Together, we set out to build the baby boutique we wished existed. One where quality doesn't come with a ridiculous price tag.
Why "The Honey and Bro Co."?
The name came from two little ones who mean the world to us: Lu (Mel's daughter) and her best friend Teo. "Honey" and "Bro" were their names for each other, born from the kind of everyday moments that make you stop and just watch. The giggling. The made-up games. The tiny hand reaching for the other one.
That's the feeling we wanted this brand to carry. Not just clothes, but the warmth of those moments.
What We're About
Every piece in our shop is hand-selected by us. We don't do mass-produced. We don't do fast fashion. We obsess over the details:
- Buttery-soft fabrics: Bamboo viscose, GOTS-certified organic cotton, and premium knits that are gentle on sensitive skin and get softer with every wash.
- Curated, not cluttered: We carry a focused collection of pieces we'd actually dress our own kids in. If it doesn't pass the "would I put this on my baby?" test, it doesn't make the cut.
- Boutique quality, honest prices: We believe parents shouldn't have to choose between beautiful clothes and their budget. Same quality as the $40 boutiques, without the markup.
- Newborn to 5T: From coming-home outfits to toddler adventures, we've got your little one covered for every stage.
More Than a Store
We're a small business run by two real moms in New Jersey. We pack every order ourselves. We answer every email personally. And we genuinely love what we do, because we're not just selling baby clothes. We're helping families dress their kids in something that feels as good as it looks.
